A team serving the community

The GPS management team and staff provide services, training and mentoring for successful studies in collaboration with academic units (faculties, schools, departments, institutes).

GPS staff ensure that students meet the admission requirements of the program in which they apply for admission. To do this, staff participate in the analysis of admission files and provide information on graduate programs to prospective students and school stakeholders. The staff ensures that general regulations for graduate and postdoctoral studies and specific regulations for each program of study are followed. It also manages the process of evaluating dissertations and theses and, finally, it regulates the preparatory process for the issuance of graduate diplomas.

Among other things, GPS staff informs students and academic units about the many financial support programs available to them. The staff participates in the search for funding, the presentation of scholarship applications and contributes to the preparation of applications for University of Montreal competitions and various granting agencies (governmental or private).
