Before Submitting an Application
Postdoctoral fellow positions are offered by professors or researchers at the Université de Montréal (UdeM). Candidates who want to apply for a fellowship must contact a professor or a researcher who shares the same research interests and who will act as fellowship supervisors.
To help you find a research supervisor, visit Université de Montréal’s Research Web site.
Policy on Postdoctoral Fellows
To ease the integration of postdoctoral fellows into the university community, UdeM has adopted a policy on the status of postdoctoral fellows at the university (French version only).
A Guide for Postdoctoral Fellows
In order to make the process easier and to help you find helpful information about your particular situation, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies has prepared a guide in French and English on the formalities to be expected before your registration. This document will also be useful during your fellowship. It includes, among other things:
- Practical information concerning postdoctoral fellowships at Université de Montréal;
- Instructions on how to complete the registration form;
- The list of postdoctoral fellowship programs.
This guide is an indispensable tool that we invite you to consult regularly!
