The Benefits
Registering for postdoctoral training at UdeM gives you a number of advantages. This status entitles you to:
- An institutional e-mail address;
- A Université de Montréal identity card (Carte UdeM);
- An official registration certificate issued by the GPS upon request, at a cost of $20.85;
- An official postdoctoral training attestation issued by the GPS upon request, upon completion of training, at a cost of $20.85.
And, for the duration of your postdoctoral training, benefit from the following services:
- Access to the University's libraries and the services provided to postgraduate by the Direction des bibliothèques;
- Access to and support for computer services provided by Information Technology (IT);
- Professional workshops offered by Les SAISONS des ESP;
- With your supervisor's approval, and subject to your status in Canada, register as an independent student to take one or more courses at UdeM, or any other training activities (e.g., summer schools);
- Subscribe to an electronic mailing list for scholarship offers or other important information. For example: The Canadian Association of Postdoctoral Scholars (ACPP/CAPS).
