The Université de Montréal's Comprehensive Study Plan consists of two parts: the Study Plan and the Success Support Plan.

The Study Plan is generated directly in Synchro from data already entered by student records management technicians. The document becomes available in Synchro only after the data has been entered. The information in this document concerns, in particular, the choice of supervisor, the courses to be taken and the deadlines for all the compulsory steps.

The Success Support Plan is uploaded by the student to Synchro and complements the Study Plan. Prepared in collaboration with the supervisor, the Plan enables the student and the supervisor, as well as any co-supervisor, to discuss supervision arrangements and to plan coursework and other activities so as to set realistic work requirements.
