Training or Research Internship
What is a training or research internship at the Université de Montréal?
An invitation to discover the world of research at UdeM
As an undergraduate or graduate intern, you are enrolled in a program of study at a university or university-level institution and, in order to meet certain program requirements or to further your knowledge, you are hosted by the Université de Montréal for training or research for a minimum period of one month and a maximum period of 12 months, which may be consecutive or not. During your stay, you will be supervised by a member of the UdeM faculty and will not take any courses. At the end of your internship, you will return to your home university to complete your studies and obtain your degree.
Training and research interns do not receive a diploma from UdeM. They are, however, subject to the University’s regulations.
