As a foreign student, you may obtain financial support in the form of scholarships offered by UdeM and by various Quebec, Canadian and international agencies. 

It is highly recommended that you refer to the scholarship list, published annually by the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. On this list, you will find several scholarships appropriate for your needs. You can also apply to obtain an additional fee waiver.

Scholarships of Excellence of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

This annual competition enables master’s and doctoral students to apply for different scholarships offered by private Foundations. The information and the application form are available on-line in early March of each year.

Additional fee waiver

Foreign students who receive this scholarship are exempted from paying a portion of the normally required tuition fees. The procedure to follow is attached to the application form.
