Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) Academic Regulations
Students registered in a master’s or doctoral program are subject to the GPS academic regulations. The GPS academic rule constitutes a set of regulations and standards that govern the implementation and running of the graduate education process at Université de Montréal.
Research Policies and Regulations
At UdeM, everyone who works in teaching and research is required to comply with strict standards of intellectual integrity and research ethics and to comply with the regulations regarding conflicts of interest.
It is recommended that the student and the research supervisor discuss institutional policies regarding intellectual integrity and property, so as to clearly establish everyone’s rights and responsibilities.
It is important to be up-to-date with the rules about intellectual integrity, fraud and plagiarism.
