Training or Research intern
The Training or Research internship Program (known also as Sandwich Program) allows a student registered in a Graduate program in another University or graduate level Institution to be registered at the Université de Montréal (UdeM) for a period of one month to one year. The Training or Research intern is registered at the UdeM in order to complete research toward the requirements of his home university, and at the end of the Training or Research internship, the student returns to his home university to complete and to obtain his degree.
The Training or Research intern is registered by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (FESP). This status allows him to be supervised by a professor at the UdeM, and to have access to student resources and facilities (including sports, cultural activities, health services, housing, etc.) and to Health Insurance coverage after payment of the required fees.
