The deadline to submit your application for the pre-selection is October 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM. 

To be eligible, you must be:

• Registered in a research program at the Master or Ph. D. level, qualified for Tri-Council funding.
• Available to participate in the pre-selection held on December 4, 2024.
• Available to participate in the institutional final held on March 14, 2025.

All candidates registered for the pre-selection will be able to present their oral presentation to the jury. Subsequently, the jury will retain only the 20 best candidates in total from the two competitions for the institutional final.

After filling out the application, you must send, by e-mail, the following documents to Hélène Godbout (helene.godbout@umontreal.ca):

1. A transcript of your studies at UdeM ranked by semester (free of charge from your Centre étudiant); does not need to be an official certified copy;
2. A letter of motivation (maximum 250 words).

Your registration will be considered completed once these two documents have been received.

Don’t forget to indicate your full name, matricule number and field of studies (program title and number) in the email.
