Costs

By embarking on graduate studies, you must make sure that you have sufficient income to obtain your degree as expeditiously as possible.

What is the cost of a graduate studies program?

In order to assess your financial position and establish a realistic budget, we invite you to consult, based on your status, the future students’ Web site (Quebec, Canadian non-residents of Quebec, foreign) containing information on:

  • tuition fees,
  • living expenses,
  • a tool for calculating your budget.

Have you properly reviewed the financial resources available to you?

At the graduate studies level, scholarships are offered by Université de Montréal, by several government and para-government agencies as well as by companies and private foundations. Teaching assistant, research assistant and lecturer positions are also available.

How can we help you?

Graduate Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) gives special attention to the matter of students’ financial support. The scholarship office sends out the most recent information on scholarship programs offered by various organizations. It provides you all the assistance needed to find and apply for scholarships and prepare the application for scholarships offered by UdeM as well as by other provincial, federal and private agencies. We invite you to consult the following section about scholarship applications.
