UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students

The University of Montréal created a tuition fees exemption scholarship program that waives supplemental tuition fees requested from international students. That scholarship is for international students admitted at the 2020 fall term and after.

Students in a Master’s Level Program

The UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students will apply to a portion of the supplemental tuition fees for international students enrolled in a Master’s level program.

Students in a Doctoral Level Program

The UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students will apply to the entirety of the supplemental tuition fees for international students enrolled in a Doctoral level program. They will then pay the same tuition fees as the students from Québec.

The goal of this Exemption Scholarship for International Students is to recruit the best international students enabling them to pursuit graduate studies and to contribute to the cultural diversity of the University of Montréal. More details on that scholarship are available on the Registrar’s web site as well as on the Admission and Recruitment Service web site.

To benefit from that scholarship, you only need to apply to one of our programs by clicking here. The university will apply the scholarship to your tuition fees once you start your program. You do not need to do anything else now to obtain that scholarship.
